the music occupies that niche between punk and the american songwriter rock tradition carved out most memorably by the replacements...it's hard driving and has an edge, but it has audible roots in classic forms of americana and early rock'n'roll and a personal, confessional vibe. it's well done and the songs range from straight up rockers to heartfelt ballads.
