layla frankel is a singer/songwriter from chicago. her debut album as a solo artist is called 'tame the fox'. it's nicely produced in a contemporary folk/pop style, which allows layla's soulful voice to take center stage.
she has a classical touch for songwriting, which combined with the production, reminds me a bit of 70's songwriters in the mold of carol king and james taylor.
